The mission of First Presbyterian Church of Sturgis is living and sharing the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with our church family and the world. We are seeking a leader pastor to join us in serving the Sturgis community.

Recent Highlights
Vacation Bible School
2024 Summer Vacation Bible School was a huge success this year. The children went down under and learned how “rock solid” God’s love is for us.
Summer Meals for Kids
Through out the summer, our church will be providing free sack lunches for kids again this summer on Mondays.

About the Town
With a population of 6,627 as of the 2010 census, Sturgis is the county seat of Meade County. It’s location offers many amenities with a small-town quality of life.
Tourism
Tourism is a major component of the local economy. Every summer brings a large number of visitors with events including: the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, Music on Main concert series, the Volksmarch hike, an Arts Festival, the Northern Hills Ag Fest, a Community Appreciation Picnic, and more.
Outdoor Recreation
Situated in the Black Hills, Sturgis has so much to offer for the outdoor enthusiast. Within the city, highlights include a robust trail system, city bike paths, and beautiful parks. Bear Butte State Park is a 10 minute drive away, offering year-round outdoor activities.
Community Activities
Other community highlights include the Sturgis Community Centers, family activities, and an active local art scene.
